“Lindsay is an excellent instructor! She is patient, clear, and highly experienced. I felt like I learned a lot more than anticipated, due to her efficiency and ability to customize classes on the spot. I recommend her to dancers of all levels, and I look forward to taking a class with her again.” -M
“The atmosphere Lindsay created put me at ease instantly. With that feeling of comfort and safety I felt I was able to really explore my growing edges, which is right where I want to be while out on the dance floor. That is only possible because of the time and effort Lindsay has, over the years, lived at her growing edge.” -J
“Our group had a mix of brand new and more experienced CI dancers. Everyone had a fantastic time and learned something. Lindsay was a great teacher, we highly recommend her private sessions!” -O

CDP is an hour-long stillness and movement practice created by Barbara Dilley. We will practice in silence in a sequence of: 15 minutes sitting, 20 minutes personal awareness movement, and 25 minutes group awareness movement. We sit at the perimeter of the room in a circle and listen for the bell to mark the time. We sense, accept, meditate, move, and hold space together. Friday mornings 10:00-11:30am, beginning January 17, 2025 (*but NO CLASS February 14). Suggested donation $5-15. Click here to see a longer detailed description of CDP. Center For Performing Arts, 3754 Pleasant Ave. MPLS. Room 105w. Please bring a pillow for sitting meditation if you wish. Drop-ins welcome.
